Texans find gold on St Pete Beach

Don't mess with Texas! Kyle Fulton and family came from Lubbock, Texas to St.Pete Beach looking for a showdown with a Florida favorite-Barracuda! Well, let's just say the Fultons got that, and a whole lot more. Grouper, Snapper, Porgies, Barracudas, Kingfish...that's right, there are still a few Kingfish roaming the offshore waters of St.Pete Beach. Sean Fulton had a 30 pounder on the line for about 15 minutes until this super-crazed beast took one last run and tail-whipped the line...ouch!

Once again, the Gulf of Mexico revealed it's glorious bounty to some 'out-of-towners' looking for a good time. Kyle, along with wife, Karen, and sons Sean, Alex and Geoff got their fair share of rod bending action on a 6-hour fishing charter from St.Pete Beach. Staying at the Tradewinds Resort Hotel put them within walking distance of Jawbreaker fishing charters, and a short boat ride West put them on the fish. Check out Geoff with one of several Barracuda caught on Thursday's fishing trip. Nice work kid! Big brother, Alex, followed up with a bigger Cuda and made it look easy....these guys could fish!

Do like the Fultons did and come to St.Pete Beach, Florida for some fun in the sun...and some red-hot fishing action in the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. Jawbreaker fishing charters plays host to people from all over the USA, but Texas is special. Their no nonsense, yet, laid back attitude make them a perfect match for the Jawbreaker. Happy fishing to Ya, Capt.Dan
