Summertime fishing in December

The big topic this year has been seriously warm weather, and on Florida's West Coast-the big topic has been seriously hot fishing! That's right, King fish, Barracudas, Sharks, Mackerel and the list goes on...everything is biting, and January is in just 2 days.

A pre-Christmas deep sea fishing charter put us in 71 degree water, and one of the hottest King fish bites this season. AJ and Andy were ready for action...and they got it. Working the markers in the Egmont Shipping Channel produced tons of big Spanish mackerel, a 3-man limit of Kings, plus 1(oops!) and this beast of a Barracuda. It's looking like the weather is going to stay this way for awhile and that suits me just fine.
