Spring Kings are here again

Ah yes, the Kingfish have arrived in the Tampa Bay area waters at last. Even with the water temp hanging around 64 degrees, in the nearshore Gulf, the Kings know that they have somewhere to go and these late season cold fronts are not going to stop them. Last Friday's 4 hour fishing charter out of Pass-a-grille on St.Pete Beach definitely proved that.

Luke Gordon and his South Georgia boys know how to have a good time. Yep, these guys were visiting St. Pete Beach to celebrate with a quickie bachelor party for young Luke… And celebrate they did. As a matter of fact, the way it looked, Adam Gordon celebrated a bit too much. But that didn't stop him or any of the other guys from giving it hell and putting some hurt on the local Kingfish population. Even though the seas were rough, and most of the crew was feeling even rougher, young Luke did what seemed natural to him and kept the entire crew rolling in laughter for this fishing trip… Oh, and I did mention, the Kingfish kept them a bit busy too!

Check out the boys from South Georgia with their limit of King fish and then some,(from left to right) Luke Gordon, Lee, Hardy Gordon, Squirrel, Adam Gordon and Jason… Way go boys- them there some nice-looking fish, fire up the smoker!!...

And there you have it, Spring Kingfish just in time for Spring Break 2013. Get your crew together and hit St.Pete Beach for some serious spring break action....on the Jawbreaker! Happy fishing to Ya, Capt.Dan
