Lollipops and rainbows over Tampa Bay

The life of a fishing charter captain is not always lollipops and rainbows, however, we do deal with a few rainbows every now and then, and with a little perseverance and a lot of luck-we usually find the pot-o-gold!

Unfortunately a strong East wind kept the Jawbreaker fishing boat from venturing too far from shore on a recent half day fishing charter out of St.Pete Beach, but lucky for us the fishing is good everywhere right now. Greg Maclain, wife Eileen and children Nick, Sarah, Jill and little 'Bubba' still had a great fishing experience despite the choppy conditions only 3 miles from the beach. Spanish mackerels, Red and Gag Groupers, Snappers and the big monster that got away!!..the big monster ate half of a 3 pound mackerel and kept on going-never to be seen. Darn!

Anyway, check out young Nick Maclain-master angler-with his first Gulf Groupers caught on board the Jawbreaker, St.Pete Beach,Florida,USA. This could be you, just call us today and find your pot-o-gold at the end of the rainbow! Happy fishing folks, Capt.Dan
