Grouper and Snapper fishing with benefits

It sure feels good to see past clients return...as friends. That's how I feel about Ben. He and his close friends had a banner day on the Jawbreaker just 4 weeks ago. Big Kingfish, 6 of them as a matter of fact, 2 big Amberjack, Bonitos and Barracudas were on the menu that time. This time it was more about bottom fishing, and fishing with Ben's family-daughter, Henny, son-in-law, Christopher, and Grand-kids Ben, Marinus and Stephen.

We did start this fishing charter, out of Pass-a-Grille, heading out to the Betty Rose wreck for some Barracuda action, but the bite was slow and only small Spanish mackerels were willing to steal our baits. Just a short run a few miles to the West put us on some decent Grouper bottom. We reached the spot and the bottom machine lit up, I knew this was going to be good.

Grouper, Snapper, Snapper, Grouper....oh, and a few small reef Sharks, were chewing before our baits could reach the bottom. It is unusual to catch keeper-size Red Grouper in less than 50 feet of water, especially in the Summertime, but, Henny and Christopher both put a keeper Red Grouper in the fish box, along with about 30 Grey Snapper and Porgies that the kids provided. And of course, several would be keeper-size Gag Grouper were released as well. Check out Christopher and Capt.Dan with a very large Gag Grouper...way to go Chris!(pic above) Ben's instructions were to bring home dinner, all I can say is “mission accomplished”.

Call Jawbreaker fishing charters and get in on the 'bring you back' action that our charters provide. Our list of repeat clients keeps growing, huh Ben? Happy fishing to Ya, Capt.Dan
