Barracuda are still invading the Gulf coast

The Jawbreaker fishing team is still putting eager anglers on one of the best gamefish in the Gulf of Mexico and the Tampa Bay fishing region...Barracuda! Hold on for big game action when a hungry 'cuda' comes your way. These monster-sized brawlers are going to put you to the test, and right now is the best time, especially while the Spanish mackerel are still plentiful in numbers.

Our recent 4-hour fishing charter out of St.pete beach produced some nice mackerel, as usual, but patience paid off for Karen Cole with another toothy surprise. This prime specimen of a Barracuda made it's way into our spread on Wednesday's afternoon charter. Check out KC with her new friend, and suitable memory for the "fish of a lifetime"...in her own words. Aside from the 'cudas', the Spanish mackerel were willing, the jacks were there, but the Kings were not happening for us on this trip. We tried everything in our power, but blamed it on slow tides and lack of 'real' bait presence.

Tidal movement, moon phase, and being in the right place at the right time is what it takes sometimes for real fishing success in the local waters of Tampa Bay , or wherever you hunt gamefish or foul. Jawbreaker fishing charters is dedicated to doing whatever it takes to keep you coming back for more...and then some. Book the trip of a lifetime today! Happy fishing to ya, Capt. Dan
