How much does a fishing charter cost?

Our current rates for fishing charters are as follows:

4-hour trip=$550, 6-hour trip=$750, 8-hour trip=$950. Extended trips=$100/per hour. Trip times may run 30-60 minutes longer than specified, at no charge. *Prices do not include gratuity. It is customary to tip the Captain/crew 15-20% of the trip cost. Please call for 'non-fishing' rates.

How should I pay for my charter fishing trip?

We accept Cash, Mastercard, Visa and American Express only. Gratuities should be paid with cash.

When do I pay for my fishing charter?

All payments will be accepted on the day of your charter. If you are paying with a credit card, we will take all of your card info when you book your trip and charge your card the day of your trip.

Is there a down payment required?

Yes. A $250 deposit will be required when booking any charter, this deposit will be refunded in the event of "severe weather and/or small craft warnings". Any cancellations must be made 7 days in advance of your scheduled trip date.

How many people can your charter boat accomodate?

All of our charters can accomodate up to 6 people. No more than 6, it's the law! If you have a large group of more than 6, we can arrange multiple boats of the same size, style and quality.

What do I need to bring with me on my charter fishing trip?

We provide everything that you will need except food and drink. Our fishing trips include all licenses, rods/reels, bait, tackle, coolers, ice, even sunscreen! Alcohol is allowed, no glass please.

Can we keep the fish that we catch?

Yes. We have a large fish cooler with ice to harvest any fish that will be used for food. We also clean and bag your catch back at the dock.

What time should we be at the dock?

We will discuss this when we book your trip. As a standard, we usually depart between 7-8am, however, this is your charter fishing trip and you may have a special request. Let us know.

Do I need a fishing license to fish on your boat?

No. We provide everything you need for your fishing charter, except food and drink!

What happens if the weather is bad on the day of our charter?

You will be briefed, as accurately as possible, of weather conditions to expect. We will not take you fishing if there is a "small craft advisory/warning" in effect. Don't worry, your captain wants you to have a good time and come back in the future.

How many fish can I expect to catch?

Lots! Jawbreaker Fishing Charters Inc. relies on repeat clients. We will do everything in our power to make your fishing experience a productive one. Although there are no guarantees as to what Mother nature may deliver on any given day, we will use every resource we have to keep them coming over the rail!
