In all of the New Year celebrations I almost forgot to include a recent Tampa Bay fishing charter into our Tampa fishing reports. Amongst many reasons to mention this trip, it was a referral from a special longtime client-turned-friend, Dan Budde, from Chicago, Illinois.

You see, Dan sent Mike and Debra Sinott, along with son, Jordan, and his sweetheart Ashley, down to St.Pete Beach for some fun in the sun fishing action in his home away from home. Unfortunately, the water was a bit cool and the seas were a bit choppy but that didn't stop this crew from getting the best of what Tampa Bay has to offer this time of year...bottom fishing for Gag Grouper and Grey Snapper!!... On one hand you have some 'kick ass tug-o-war fishing with a catch and release finish', and on the other hand you have ' light tackle fun for all with a killer snapper dinner ending'. Whew!! say that three times fast...either way, you get the point-lots of fun and guaranteed vittles for the whole crew, and their families, and neighbors.....
