Tampa Locals Find A Gold Mine  4/7/2011

Capt. Dan,

I wanted to take a moment to thank you for the recent trip. What a great day! Being a local, I have taken several charters out of the Tampa Bay area, looking for "the right guy" to go fishing with. You and John could not have worked harder to provide us with a spectacular charter. I have been fortunate to have been able to fish in many places, and have found that some of the best is right here at home.

Anybody looking to fish Tampa-St. Pete that does not go with you is making a mistake. I look forward to seeing you on "The Jawbreaker" again soon!  I have made some new friends, and have finally found "the right guy."  Thanks again, and stay safe!

First Timers Turned Pro  4/5/2010

This was mine and my sons first time on a charter. I did not know what to expect. When we pulled up to the dock and saw the Jawbreaker and all the equipment, we were surprised.  We were on the fish immediately. I thought we were only fishing for grouper, but we were on grouper, snapper, kingfish and porgies! We got our limit of Gags and Red grouper. You and Tom made us feel like old pros in no time. What an absolute blast!! I would recommend the Jawbreaker and Captain Dan to everybody.

Grouper Fishing Charter  10/15/2009

Captain Dan and Tom have done it again! This was my fourth trip with these guys and I can honestly say that each trip gets better. The first time Capt. Dan said we were going grouper fishing, thats all we expected. Grouper, snapper, kingfish, triggerfish is what we got! Thanks Capt.Dan, we will see next year.

General Fishing Charter 4/25/2009

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for a memorable and productive fishing experience on the Jawbreaker. You and your mate were most courteous, knowledgeable and helpful through out the trip. Your well equipped boat was very comfortable for all six of us that were fishing, and no one had to wait for bait or removing the catch due to the expertise of you and your mate.

My brothers from Georgia and I want to make this an annual event, so we look forward to seeing you in the future. This being my third trip, I will certainly be back.

I highly recommend the Jawbreaker and Captain Dan Barry for any off-shore excursions if you want to have an enjoyable day in the Gulf of Mexico. I would also like to say those Stone Crab Claws you get are excellent.

Yearly Fishing Trips 3/23/2009

I believe this will be the 6th yr that my kids and I have fished with Capt. Dan on the Jawbreaker. There are several things that  happen each and every time out on the water with Dan. First, he make's the trip enjoyable for everyone on the boat and goes the extra mile to ensure everyone is having a good time. Second, Capt. Dan produces fish!!!!  We have always caught fish on the Jawbreaker and are always amazed at size of the Grouper that we have landed and the variety of other species that we have caught. Our ritual every March is to travel from blustery Illinois to the sun soaked beaches of St.Pete and enjoy a day on the water with Capt.Dan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
